Hannah had decided in June that she wanted to be a pirate. During VBS last year, there was a skit that was performed every night and one of the characters was a pirate. After that, that's all we heard, was that she wanted to be a pirate for Halloween. I figured she'd change her mind, but she didn't... October came and she still wanted to be a pirate! I have to say, she was the cutest one I've ever seen.
We had made our rounds and ended up at the Sheer's last. I wasn't feeling good due to the peanut growing inside so we just stayed for awhile. At one point, Mauri said that he only had 8 pieces of candy left and when they were all gone, we'd have to shut the porch light off and call it a night. What Hannah responded with, blew my mind and left me in tears... She said, "We don't have to do that. I'll just share my candy with the rest of the kids."
